As we head into the home stretch of 2022, there is lots of exciting headway continuing on our ten developments currently under construction across South East Queensland, with Mosaic Construction gearing up to complete two new luxury addresses in early 2023.
Kensington by Mosaic | Toowong

Mosaic Construction continues to hit exciting milestones, having now completed the level 6 concrete slab pour. Weather permitting, September will see the team complete the level 8 slab, meaning we are very close to building top out! Internal works continue with the installation of window frames and glazing as well as services rough in. Joinery will also commence this month.

Exciting progress this month with bulk excavation complete and shotcrete applied to the basement retention walls. Lorient’s tower crane has also been installed, and prep work is underway for the basement slab pour, which, all going to plan, will take place this month.

Demolition of the existing structures and site clearing is now complete. Everything is tracking as it should be behind the scenes, with Mosaic Construction finalising all required trades and approvals to commence Luca’s initial site excavation activities, with piling as the first activity.

The excitement continues this month as we are one slab closer to building top out! With the level 14 slab complete, formwork and verticals are progressing to level 15. Glazing installation also continues progress up the building and is currently at level 12.

September is an extremely exciting month as we will officially reach building top out! The level 16 concrete slab is poured, and formwork has been stripped up to level 15. Windows are installed to level 14, walls are framed to level 13, services rough-in is finalised to level 12, and sheeting is complete to level 11. Joinery is underway to level 8, and tiling has commenced to level 10. Painting is also progressing internally, currently at level 10. All of these works will continue up the tower over the coming months.

Hutchinson Builders continue advancing the concrete slab pours, now at level 5. In other good news, the lift and stairs system as the core of the building is at level 11, and the tower perimeter containment screens are being installed. Scaffold stripping is underway to the basement and podium, and the external site sheds at the front of the site are in the process of being removed.

There was certainly no slowing down over August at The Witton. With the construction of the capping beam finalised, the team has officially commenced basement excavation to Witton One at the rear of the site. Works are also underway on Witton Twos lift and stair core, which will be poured this month.

Mosaic Construction continues to make solid progress towards the official commencement of basement excavation. All going to plan, and weather permitting, these works will commence this month. The dewatering system has been installed to remove groundwater or surface water during excavation. September will also see the completion of the pad mount transformer and underground conduits for the building’s power distribution.
