About the Role

This full-time, hands-on position will see you working as a part of the site team based in Brisbane. Your duties will include: 

• Ensuring safe work practices are carried out on-site in accordance with all legislative requirements, Mosaic Construction’s HSE systems, policies and procedures;
• Assisting site management in the setup, implementation and ongoing review of HSE Management Systems and procedures;
• Promoting the health and safety of workers on site, ensuring all site personnel are familiar with and proactively implementing company HSE policies and procedures;
• Performing regular safety inspections, risk assessments and reviews of SWMS; and
• Developing effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including health and safety representatives.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience in Work Health and Safety and Compliance;
• Holds an Occupational or Senior First Aid Certificate;
• Has 5+ years’ experience in safety management;
• Has strong existing relationships with Work Health and Safety related organisations;
• Has the ability to communicate confidently and clearly; and
• Is proactive and self-motivated with a desire for ongoing professional development.
