ABOUT THE ROLE

As we continue to shape the urban landscape, we are seeking a skilled and motivated client-side Design Manager to uphold the Mosaic brand and ensure excellence in design and project delivery. Your responsibilities will include:

• Involvement in all project phases through the project lifespan. From project inception through to on-site design assistance.
• Reviewing and analysing projects against Mosaic design standards, performance requirements, marketing collateral and contractual requirements.
• Interrogating designs to ensure high quality, meeting project budget and aesthetic requirements.
• Conducting apartment layout planning analysis, providing recommendations for improvement.
• Reviewing and interrogating all project-related shop drawings.
• Facilitating and managing the sample sign off approval process.
• Reviewing projects and recommending Value Management opportunities.
• Working collaboratively with development, construction and other business units within Mosaic Property Group.
• Attending, contributing and collaborating in weekly design and development workshops.
• Assisting with general consultant coordination for design-led project outcomes.
• Attending site meetings and provide architectural advice on site queries and RFIs.
• Keeping abreast of industry and design specific directions in the market. Taking interest in apartment design, including research and sharing of ideas.

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will have:

• A Masters of Architecture.
• 3-5 years post-graduate work experience in residential or multi-residential office as a project lead, working on design led projects.
• Design, documentation and site experience.
• Great organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong communication skills with project stakeholders.
• A passion for architecture, interior design and place making, with a good practical design eye.
• Interior design experience (preferred, but not essential).
• Registration as an Architect (preferred, but not essential).
