About the Role
We are seeking a Defects Administrator to support our Customer Experience team in creating an exceptional customer experience through managing the identification of, communication around, and resolution of, rectifications in Mosaic’s residential projects.
Acting as a central point of contact between residents of our projects and the development and construction teams within the broader Mosaic business, your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Proactively and sensitively communicating with clients at all stages of the rectification process, including officially “closing the loop” with clients when resolved
- Coordinating and driving the resolution of approved rectification items by the development and construction teams
- Building strong relationships with clients and colleagues, continually striving for customer satisfaction
- Attending meetings with clients pre- and post- settlement as required
- Drafting and issuing client/building communications that relate to rectifications, ongoing maintenance reminders and other updates
- Identifying matters that require escalation, conveying these to the Client Quality Manager and making recommendations on the best course of action
- Preparing regular reports on the status of rectification items for senior team members
- Analysing and identifying patterns in rectifications and proposing processes or ideas to mitigate the recurrence of common defects in future projects
We are searching for someone who takes pride in their work and is:
- Has a tertiary education, preferably in a construction or property-related discipline
- Holds a C class licence
- Is confident managing competing priorities
- Is an excellent negotiator
- Has strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Is self-motivated, able to work autonomously and manage their time proactively
- Is confident liaising with stakeholders, and other team members at all levels
- Is comfortable using Microsoft Suite programs and similar software
