What is an Emergency Maintenance Request

In this instance, an “emergency” is a fault or issue that may result in injury or more severe damage if not immediately addressed.

Some examples include:

  • A breakdown of an essential service provided by the landlord or agent (eg water, electricity)
  • Burst water service
  • Blocked or broken toilet system
  • Serious roof leak
  • Gas leak
  • Dangerous electrical fault
  • Flooding or severe flood damage
  • Severe storm or fire damage
  • Damage that results in the property being unsecured or hazardous
  • A serious lift or staircase fault.

To report an emergency maintenance issue during office hours (8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday), please call us directly on 1300 985 852.

To report an emergency maintenance issue outside of office hours (after 5:00pm weekdays and on weekends and public holidays), please call 07 3667 8220.

Any requests outside the listed emergencies above will be actioned the following business day.

In the case of an actual emergency, please contact 000 or State Emergency Services on 132 500.
