What is an Emergency Maintenance Request
In this instance, an “emergency” is a fault or issue that may result in injury or more severe damage if not immediately addressed.
Some examples include:
- A breakdown of an essential service provided by the landlord or agent (eg water, electricity)
- Burst water service
- Blocked or broken toilet system
- Serious roof leak
- Gas leak
- Dangerous electrical fault
- Flooding or severe flood damage
- Severe storm or fire damage
- Damage that results in the property being unsecured or hazardous
- A serious lift or staircase fault.
