The Story Behind a $1.7 Billion Vote of Confidence

Gold Coast Bulletin – Momentum Magazine 03/08/2026

Since 2018, Mosaic Property Group has delivered, or is in the process of delivering, more than $1.7 billion in luxury multi-residential development across the Gold Coast, encompassing 14 projects and 724 homes, helping define one of the most significant periods of growth in the region’s history.

From Mermaid Beach, Broadbeach and Burleigh Heads to Palm Beach, Kirra and Bilinga, it has established one of the region’s most prolific and consistent delivery track records.

In an era marked by rising construction costs, labour shortages and increasing complexity, Mosaic has continued to launch, sell and deliver projects at scale, with sustained buyer demand driving strong pre-sales momentum and sell-outs well ahead of completion.

The obvious question is why.

For Mosaic Founder and Managing Director Brook Monahan, the answer lies in an unrelenting pursuit of excellence and a commitment to constant evolution.

“We don’t believe in a finish line. The moment you think you’ve mastered something is the moment you stop listening. Every customer, every project and every market cycle has something to teach us. We take those lessons, challenge ourselves to do better, and keep raising the benchmark.”

Underlying that philosophy is a belief that luxury isn’t a fixed idea. It must continually evolve to meet the way people want to live.

“Today, true luxury is about far more than aesthetics. It’s about creating homes that feel effortless to live in, homes that support wellbeing, function intuitively and enrich everyday life.”

“It’s also about securing remarkable locations and designing for the way people aspire to live, both now and in the future. By continually researching emerging trends, behaviours and expectations and engaging closely with the thousands of buyers who have purchased from Mosaic previously, we ensure every project is designed not just for today, but for the way people aspire to live in the future. Our projects must be timeless in every sense.”

A key defining strength is Mosaic being both developer and builder, retaining oversight of every decision, detail and home it delivers, and standing by its customers long after settlement.

“Purchasing off the plan requires an immense level of trust, something we never take for granted,” Mr Monahan said.

“We’re creating places where birthdays will be celebrated, children will grow up, friendships will be formed and memories will be made. That’s a responsibility we feel deeply, and it influences every decision we make.”

This inherent customer-first approach is a formula Mosaic has gotten right, with repeat purchasers and referrals accounting for a substantial share of sales.

Market confidence is matched by industry recognition. Multiple Mosaic projects have received prestigious awards numbering in the hundreds, including Florence in Burleigh Heads, which was named Project of the Year at the 2026 UDIA Queensland Awards for Excellence.

Mosaic’s evolution continues through four ultra-luxury addresses currently under construction; Isabel and Josephine in Burleigh Heads, Madeline in Broadbeach, and Sophia in Palm Beach.

“These residences are the clearest expression of our vision to date, homes that aim to feel instinctively right, where every detail has purpose, every space enhances wellbeing, and every day is shaped by the privilege of an exceptional location that is very difficult to replicate again,” Mr Monahan said.

While these developments signal the next chapter of Mosaic’s Gold Coast story, they are underpinned by more than a decade of proven performance across South East Queensland.

Since 2012, the company has completed more than 75 residential communities representing over $3 billion in value while maintaining a 100 per cent completion record.

“We have worked incredibly hard to build a brand people trust and every day we will fight hard to continue to earn that trust,” Mr Monahan said.

“Whether someone purchased a Mosaic home 10 years ago or is considering one today, our commitment remains unchanged: to create homes that stand the test of time, honour the confidence people place in us, and leave a lasting sense of pride in those who call them home.”

In a market where confidence matters more than ever, a proven ability to deliver has become the property industry’s most valuable currency.
