ViewMosaic Property Group Co-Founder Dave Handley has marked the commencement of construction on Sayre by Mosaic at an official sod-turning ceremony, with guests Tim Nicholls MP and Councillor David McLachlan.
According to Urbis’s recent Apartment Essentials report, the $34m, 56-apartment project located on Gallway Street in Windsor was Brisbane’s highest-selling project so far this year, accounting for 20% of total sales in the region with an average sale price of $601,000. The result also saw it rank 7th for sales in Australia.
Launching in January 2019, over 90% of Sayre is now sold with strong demand from local owner-occupiers, particularly young professionals.
Mosaic Founder and Managing Director Brook Monahan said that the strong response to Sayre was a result of Mosaic’s commitment to building quality apartments for owner-occupiers in areas like Windsor that had exceptional amenity like parks, transport and cafes along with city views.
In addition to the project’s sales achievement, Sayre also signified a major milestone for the Company, being its 40th residential development for South East Queensland.
“We are thrilled with how the market has so quickly and positively responded to Sayre. It will be our third apartment development for Windsor and another example of our dedication to creating design-led boutique luxury developments that really consider the end-user while being supported by strong real estate investment fundamentals.”
“We are also very proud of the continued expansion of our South East Queensland footprint, and of the economic benefits created, including more than 700 jobs over the course of Sayre’s construction.”
Tim Nicholls MP and Cr David McLachlan joined Mr Handley on site yesterday to mark Sayre’s official commencement of construction.
“Sayre is an excellent response to demand for premium housing in well-connected inner-city locations and is reflective of Mosaic’s ongoing commitment to the vibrancy and vitality of Windsor.” said Mr Nicholls
“The diversity of living options, along with the positive economic impact set to be delivered, are welcome contributions to the vibrancy and liveability of the local community.”
Very limited opportunities remain in Sayre by Mosaic, starting from $540,000. Construction is due for completion in late 2020.
