Published via Gold Coast Bulletin - 06/04/2023 Brisbane developer Mosaic is looking to capitalise on the rapid $166m sellout of top-end Broadbeach apartment tower Marella, chasing more success with a project on an adjoining site.
Lily by Mosaic, overlooking Nikiforides Family Park, the Broadbeach Bowls Club and the ocean, will be a $160m, 29-floor high-rise with 98 apartments. It will take the value of Mosaic projects on the Gold Coast in the past four years to $850m and the number to 10.
The other nine buildings, all sellouts, are under construction. Mosaic founder Brook Monahan yesterday said the unveiling of Lily was being accelerated to meet an ongoing demand for the group’s apartments on the Gold Coast.
Work on the latest, Marella in Surf Pde, was brought forward by months to late 2022 after it hit a market hot spot, with nearly $100m in sales in the five weeks after its launch. Lily, designed by Plus Architecture, will be built on a 1422sq m site on the northern corner of Surf Pde and Rosewood Ave, home to the The Retreat and Gum Lodge low-rises.
Mosaic says that prices will start from $895,000 for two-bedroom apartments and $1.995m for those with three bedrooms. Prices have not been disclosed for six sky-homes.
