High-end buyers snapping up new apartments on the Gold Coast are looking for more than just top-of-the-line fitouts and amenities, and so developers are offering resort-style concierge services.

Wellness spas and world-class gyms are considered staples within new prestige projects that have popped up along the prized beachfront. Now, like their Sydney and Melbourne property counterparts, some are taking it further, with developers offering permanent in-house resident support to help organise events, catering and personal cleaning.
Southeast Queensland developer Mosaic Property Group noticed the gap in the market during the Covid-19 building boom and launched its customer service brand, Mosaic Bespoke Living, in 2021.
Managing director Brook Monahan said luxury living now meant more than just delivering a beautiful property in a great location.
“Luxury projects initially revolved around opulent interiors and amenities,” he said.

“However, over time, expectations have shifted significantly. Today’s luxury buyers prioritise a holistic living experience, and more personalised attention replaces what was once a standard concierge service with tailored support.
“It meant providing a lifestyle that offered convenience, exclusivity and customised service – an overall experience.
“These services go beyond traditional concierge offerings, focusing on the holistic care of residents and their homes. They are invaluable to residents as they address not only immediate needs but also contribute to a sense of wellbeing and belonging within the community.”
Technology had become an increasing part of the service, Mosaic’s Mr Monahan said. While residents could access assistance at the front desk, he said an app had also been developed for ease.
“Embracing technology has been crucial; we leverage a custom-developed mobile app and online portals to streamline communication and service delivery,” he said.
