The excitement was palpable as Master Builders Queensland welcomed a live crowd to the event at Venue114, Bokarina, on Friday 10 September.
Once again, the calibre of entries brought by this year’s field was exceptional, overcoming the ongoing trade and materials shortages and price hikes hampering the industry. The judging panel was delighted with the quality of workmanship, impeccable finishes, and level of detail on show in every project.

The Mosaic team also took home the Best Residential Kitchen award for the Avalon – Azure 1701, housed inside the super-exclusive waterfront building of the development. Set on the banks of the Maroochy River, Avalon by Mosaic comprises 93, 2-and-3-bedroom apartments, and ultra-luxury 3-and-4-bedroom residences across two architecturally striking boutique buildings. A mixture of glass, solid and batten balustrading and extensive sliding bronze perforated panels and considered screening balance privacy and views. An arresting 5.6m by 5.3m green wall at the entrance creates a breathtaking sense of arrival.
The super-exclusive waterfront building of just 15, Azure, offers sweeping river and ocean views, and river access via a private jetty, with each residence either half or full-floor sized.
