Mosaic Property Group is setting out to hit a third close-to-the-beach sweetspot on the Gold Coast, unveiling boutique tower Grace at Burleigh Heads.

The 16-level building, with 47 apartments, is to rise a short stroll from the ocean in Second Ave.

The Brisbane-based Mosaic said Grace takes the value of projects it has launched on the Gold Coast since late 2018 past $200 million.

Bela, a 26-level, 127-apartment building in Mermaid Beach’s Peerless Ave, became the region’s best-selling off-the-plan project over a 12-month period. The tower, due for completion in mid-2021, is verging on a sellout.

Kirra project Elan, a $23 million venture launched in late 2019, sold out within three months of its release and also is due for completion in mid-2021.

Mosaic founder Brook Monahan said the BDA-designed Grace has drawn a long list of pre-launch registrations, indicating another strong sales performance.

“Burleigh Heads is one of Queensland’s hottest markets and Grace is right at the heart of it and within short reach of the suburb’s superb lifestyle offerings,” he said.

“We have gone to remarkable effort and detail to create a beautifully crafted collection of residences that take full advantage of Grace’s prime position and coveted ocean views.

“Grace residents will enjoy a lifestyle that blends the comfort of a modern, luxury apartment with the quintessentially laid-back coastal atmosphere for which Burleigh Heads is admired.”

Mr Monahan said Mosaic, which also develops in Brisbane and on the Sunshine Coast, has seen a sharp increase in inquiry from southern buyers for luxury beachside apartments across its entire coastal portfolio.

“There is no doubt the Gold Coast is a primary beneficiary of COVID-weary southern residents looking for an idyllic change in Queensland, with its abundance of sunshine and open space,” he said. “Last month Mosaic achieved the highest number of sales in its history across our three core markets.”

Grace, to be launched next month, is to be built on a 953 sqm site at 4 and 6 Second Ave, bought for $6.7 million.

The two and three-bedroom Grace apartments will start at $695,000 and peak at $1.945 million.

Resort-style resident facilities will include a landscaped pool deck with entertaining area, sun lounges, and private dining.
