Gold Coast Bulletin - Friday 3/07/2020
Mosaic Property Group has become the latest Brisbane developer to target Burleigh Heads, unveiling an apartment tower project it plans to fast-track close to the beachfront.

The tower, with 47 apartments, is earmarked for a site in Second Ave, one block back from The Esplanade and a similar distance from the Gold Coast Hwy.

The move comes as Mosaic already has enjoyed Gold Coast success with towers at Mermaid Beach and Kirra.

The planned 17-level Burleigh tower is to have 47 two and three bedroom units and parking on three basements and the ground level.

Mosaic founder Brook Monahan said the building, which was awaiting development approval, was a response to robust demand for premium beachside living.

He said the BDA-designed project was aimed at owner-occupiers, with apartments and balconies that showcased a “priceless” coastline view.

Mosaic, in targeting Burleigh, is following in the footsteps of fellow Brisbane apartment developers Forme, Spyre, David Devine, Chris Vitale and Ross Nielson.

The Burleigh project is planned on a 953sq m site at 4 and 6 Second Ave, separated from The Esplanade by eight-level holiday apartment building Wyuna. The site is occupied by four-unit building Boringa and a 19-year-old duplex.
