When he's not bringing home gold for Australia as a World Champion Water Skier, Mosaic Development Coordinator Joel Howley is working hard supporting our Development team bring Mosaic projects to life.
What did you do before coming to Mosaic?
I was living in the U.S., competing on the Pro Waterski Tour and studying Architecture.
What attracted you to join Mosaic?
I researched each property developer in SEQ and fell in love with the projects and ethos of Mosaic. Mosaic is the only place I sent my CV to. Not sure what I would have done if they said no because I had certainly decided that Mosaic was the place for me.
Describe your role, which department you work for, what does your department do?
I work in the Development Team, which manages the process of creating Mosaics beautiful buildings from start to finish. We work closely with the Design, Construction, Sales and Marketing Teams, who are all very good at what they do, and each brings valuable insights to various stages of a project’s lifecycle.
What do you love most about coming to work every day?
Brook and Dave have built a culture of excellence and have committed to hiring genuinely kind and self-motivated staff. The people I work with are both the most important and most enjoyable part of coming to work.
Describe Mosaic in one word.
Driven.
Have you taken on any challenges outside of your role at Mosaic?
I have made it my mission to teach each staff member how to waterski one by one.
How do you like to relax/spend your downtime?
Downtime is not my forte. When not at work, I am probably waterskiing.
