What did you do before coming to Mosaic?

I commenced my real estate career in Brisbane, initially working onsite as the front-facing receptionist for a residential site that was comprised of 3 towers and 520 apartments in Fortitude Valley. This opportunity allowed me to learn the ropes from my peers in Property Management, in turn providing me with the ability, confidence and drive to take the next step into managing my own portfolio.

Describe what your role is, which department do you work for, what does your department do?

My position as Senior Property Manager with Mosaic on the Sunshine Coast is versatile, meaning I am fortunate to oversee and complete the day-to-day tasks from listing and leasing property, liaising with key stakeholders, as well as building and maintaining a proactive relationship with our tenants.

What advice could you offer to anyone starting out or wanting to work in the property industry (in your field of expertise or otherwise)?

Give it your best and be adaptable. There is ample room for professional and personal growth in this fast-paced industry.

Do you have any mentors or people you look up to or have helped you along the way?

Absolutely, I have an abundance of mentors and colleagues who selflessly provide their industry knowledge and advice, as well as play counsellor on occasion too. The people who play these roles in my career and offer guidance are not necessarily limited to property management but all facets of the property industry.

What would you attribute as a driving factor to your career success at Mosaic?

The communication between the internal teams and each of Mosaic’s departments to ensure that the common goal is achieved, the accessible support and opportunity available are encouragement enough to work hard and complete the task ahead to a standard that is reflective of what Mosaic is about.
