At Mosaic, we don’t always have the answer for everything; that’s why we work with some amazing companies to make sure we get it right!
One of those awesome companies is K-Spec Building Consultants, whose company director Phil Kelly recently won the Master Builders Gold Coast Major Award for Institute of Building Consultants Award for BUILDING CONSULTANT OF THE YEAR 2017.
Master Builders is an industry association which has represented building and construction in Queensland since 1882. The awards are held annually and are broken down into areas such as Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Central Queensland, Far North Queensland and more. The winners from each region then enter the state competition. Awards cover topics such as Apprentice of the Year, Women in Building, Rising Star, Best Residential Bathroom etc as well as Housing and Construction Awards.
This award is a wonderful achievement for Phil and K-Spec and demonstrates his level of professionalism and ongoing service to the construction industry whilst above all remaining impartial and independent.
K-Spec’s qualified, professional inspectors assist in the identification of defects for each of our developments. Their independent and objective advice and reports add an additional layer to Mosaic’s already robust defect management processes which ensure that each and every project is delivered to the highest possible standard at settlement.
K-Spec has a deserved reputation for their attention to detail and reliable assessments, servicing several developers throughout Australia with outstanding results, and will continue to provide unbiased and highly detailed defect rectification and quality assurance reports for each Mosaic development. We believe that the quality of our reporting will benefit from this association and the new standardised format, further enhancing Mosaic’s existing strong framework around the defect management process.
Some of the key advantages of the K-Spec process are:
Mosaic Construction has also been the recipient of Master Builders awards, including the 2016 Major Award for Sunshine Coast House of the Year and the 2017 Home Renovation/Remodelling Project ($276,000-$575,000).
