LUXURY living is being snapped up on the Sunshine Coast with a new $23 million project being launched at Kings Beach on the back of the sellout of the developer’s $20 million property nearby. Mosaic Property Group has just launched Solis at Kings Beach in response to market demand after the sellout of Cyan.

Solis comprises 33 stunning one, two and three-bedroom apartments over eight levels, crowned by three sub penthouses and two exclusive penthouse apartments.

Mosaic Property Group’s Managing Director Brook Monahan said Solis is the product of extensive market research designed to create modern living spaces that specifically target the needs of local buyers.

“The Sunshine Coast is a great place to live, work, invest and play, so we’re very excited to be bringing Solis to the market,” he said.

“Apart from the resort-style facilities buyers would expect from a building of this calibre, we have also decided to embrace a pet-friendly environment for residents.”

Construction of Solis is set to commence next month, with completion anticipated a year later. Solis is the second of five projects totalling $175 million planned by Mosaic Group for the Sunshine Coast.

“The entire team at Mosaic is very excited and confident in the decision to expand our product offering on the Sunshine Coast,” Mr Monahan said.

“Supported by the sell-out of our neighbouring project Cyan, there’s not a better time to launch Solis.

“The Sunshine Coast has both public and private projects within the education, health and residential sectors, which the Sunshine Coast has not seen in its recent history.

“After years of consideration and research into the local economy, and seeing its growth as a popular regional city, we now look forward to delivering exceptional residential buildings to this ever-expanding location.”

Mosaic’s development pipeline will create 635 direct and indirect full-time equivalent positions, with 380 of those positions on the Sunshine Coast. Mosaic will inject $33 million in wages for local workers, accompanied by a $94 million economic benefit to the Sunshine Coast region.

OGE Group Architects principal architect John Robertson said Solis was set to make an impact.

“Mosaic wanted to create a development that really responds to how people live on the coast,” Mr Robertson said. “One example, the allowance of pets has led to the inclusion of a facility where people walking back from the beach can wash their pet off.

“It might sound like a little thing, but it’s something that some developers might shy away from.

However, Mosaic didn’t shy away from anything if it was important to the end users.”

Apartment prices start from $405,000 for the one-bedroom, while two-bedrooms are priced from $520,000 and three-bedrooms from $790,000.

Apartments range in size from 100sqm to 265sqm.

Each apartment offers light spacious interiors and balconies just metres from Kings Beach and close to the shops, restaurants and cafes of Caloundra’s CBD.

Residents can also enjoy a private resort-style pool with tropical surrounds.
