As the vibrant season of Spring starts to unfold, Mosaic Construction is on the move, making remarkable strides across our extensive portfolio of 13 active construction sites across South East Queensland. From the towering achievements of structural top-outs to the anticipation of new beginnings, our teams are working hard at delivering on our promises to our customers.

Lily by Mosaic | Broadbeach

Address: 4 Rosewood Avenue, Broadbeach

Apartments: 98, 2- and 3-bedroom residences and Sky Homes over 29 levels

August was another month of exciting, solid progress on-site for Mosaic Construction as they continued preparations to commence bulk excavation and advance utility connections.

September sees the team forecasting to complete piling works, weather permitting, and kicking off the process of installing the capping beam, a critical load-distributing component that will support the weight of the building.

Cotton Tree by Mosaic | Cotton Tree

Mosaic Construction has been progressing with piling works to Cotton Tree’s second building.  Should all go to plan, this milestone task will be completed this month.

Following this, the team will start capping beam works, a critical load-distributing component that fortifies the building’s foundations. In more good news, inground electrical and hydraulic works are underway to Building 1, with the stormwater connection set to be finalised in September.

Mosaic Construction has continued to advance the pivotal task of installing the capping beam and applying shotcrete to the excavated perimeter walls in preparation for above-ground works to commence. They anticipate finalising these tasks this month, weather permitting.

September’s focus is also concentrated on commencing service connections, i.e. sewer, stormwater, and water. On top of this is a consequential milestone – The Manning’s tower crane installation. This powerful symbol of progress also underlines our unwavering commitment to delivery.

The off-site process of concrete precast panel and glazing production has also kicked off to ensure these critical elements are ready for installation when the time comes.

Mosaic manufactures its own glazing, having spent several years researching and testing to achieve an optimal outcome for Residents from a livability and sustainability standpoint, as evidenced by its consistent high performance against the national energy rating scheme.

Mosaic Construction has continued to advance with the massive and timely task of bulk excavation, followed progressively by the application of shotcrete to the basement walls.

This month’s focus is concentrated on several crucial tasks, including completing bulk excavation, weather permitting.

Like The Manning, September is a momentous month with The Prescott’s planned tower crane installation.

Mosaic Construction will also shift its focus to commencing the foundational elements for the basement slab pour, including initiating vital components such as stair and lift pits and under-slab services, i.e. the systems and conduits that provide essential utilities, such as water supply, drainage, electrical wiring, and data cabling.

August was a massive month for Mosaic Construction, with the team achieving Lorient’s structural top-out. Considerable headway is also being made with plumbing and drainage, window installation, wall and ceiling framing and services rough-in.

Steady progress is likewise being made on the recreation building, with scaffold installation complete, paving the way for further progress in September. Weather permitting, this month will see plants and screening installed on Lorient’s rooftop, commencing the journey towards its final aesthetic.

August saw Mosaic Construction achieve the critical and exciting milestone of Luca’s structural top-out. This signals that we are another significant step closer to welcoming Residents home, with the core of this singular collection of residences now standing tall and proud at its final height.

The team is progressing with wall sheeting to Level 3, giving shape to the interior spaces, while window fitting is now at Level 7, and services rough-in is advancing to Level 6 (i.e. electrical wiring, plumbing, heating, cooling, and data cables for internet and communication). In further good news, externally, the team has started rendering works, which will contribute to Luca’s timeless, distinctive aesthetic.

Auugst saw Hutchies hit some great milestones. High-level services rough-in has reached Level 30, where glazing installation has now officially wrapped up. Plasterboard work is in full swing to the highest levels, while painting has kicked off on Level 27. Tiling got underway to Level 26, timber flooring progressed to Level 25, and stone bench installation is now at Level 24. One of Dawn’s lifts is operational, while planter box filling has begun for the various recreational spaces on Level 2.

Witton One hit another milestone with the completion of the concrete slab pours for Levels 7 and 8. This means we are now officially over halfway to reaching the tower structure’s full height. Glazing installation to the lower levels also kicked off as planned last month. As did the ramping up of activity of Witton Two at the front of the site.

This month’s focus is on completing Witton One’s Level 9 concrete slab pour, weather permitting, and advancing window installation. Simultaneously, Witton Two’s construction will continue accelerating, with the team targeting to form the ground floor columns and stair and lift cores.

August saw Mosaic Construction complete both the Level 5 and 6 concrete slab pours, meaning we have just about reached the halfway mark of Augusta’s building stucture. Services rough-in is advancing through Levels 1 to 5, wall framing and lining to Level 1, and window installation through Levels 1 to 3, laying the foundation for the elegant spaces that will soon come to life. This month, Mosaic Construction will keep progressing with internal works, in addition to targeting to complete the Level 7 and 8 concrete slab pours, all going to plan and weather permitting.

Mosaic Construction completed both the Level 3 and 4 concrete slab pours in August, nearing the halfway mark of Florence’s building structure. September sees them targeting to complete the Level 5 and 6 concrete slab pours, all going to plan and weather permitting. Services rough-in is also set to get underway to the lower levels. This groundwork lays the foundation for modern living comforts, i.e., all the connections and infrastructure required throughout the residences’ walls, ceilings, and floors.

August was another month of solid progress on-site for Mosaic Construction. Wall framing is now complete on all levels, and the team is progressing with wall sheeting to Level 5 while painting is underway to Level 2. External tiling also kicked off last month with the aim to complete by the end of September and start on external screen installation, weather permitting. Internally, tiling will begin, as will joinery fit-outs, breathing life and functionality into living spaces.

Sales Status: Only a couple remaining – move quickly.

The team hit two more significant milestones, completing both the Basement 2 and Basement 1 concrete slab pours.  This month’s focus is concentrated on the crucial phase of transitioning from Basement 1 to the ground level. Firstly, the team will form and reinforce the columns, setting the structural framework for the floors above. Then, as the month unfolds, the team will target two out of four planned concrete pours required for this phase, weather permitting. This marks a massive and exciting juncture in The Mowbray’s building program, as The Mowbray will shortly be on the ascend.

Marella by Mosaic | Broadbeach

Apartments: 100, 2- and 3-bedroom residences over thirty levels

Marella’s Level 1 slab pour was completed in August, as was the installation of the ground, mezzanine, and level 1 precast panels. The perimeter scaffold is installed on Level 2, allowing formwork and preparation for the concrete slab pour to progress.

Services fit-off activities, i.e. electricity and water connections, are underway at the basement levels, while preparations for the Energex pad-mount transformer are now in motion. The team is looking to maintain their solid momentum this month, forecasting to pour the Level 2 concrete slab and commence preparation for Level 3, weather permitting.
