Sales Status: NEARING SELLOUT – ONE REMAINING

Excitingly, site establishment works are officially underway, with the team installing Cotton Tree’s sheds and hoarding on site shortly. Should all go to plan and weather permiting, piling works will commence this month for both buildings 1 and 2. Beforehand, the team will create working platforms to provide a reliable and stable surface on which a piling rig can operate safely.

It’s full steam ahead on-site, with Mosaic Construction continuing to make solid headway, having kicked off piling works to the site perimeter. As the team completes a section of piles, they will progressively form and pour the capping beams. May saw Mosaic Construction complete The Prescott’s perimeter piling works. With this critical task now complete, the team is advancing with capping beam works which will continue throughout June. Bulk excavation is set to kick off in the second half of June once the capping beam works are finalised. The team will begin digging into the top layer of dirt before progressing further into the basement levels throughout August.

Lorient’s ascent is, excitingly, nearing its conclusion, with Mosaic Construction completing the level 6 slab pour in late May. June will see the team target the level 7 slab pour, weather pending, meaning we are getting very close to reaching building top out. Meanwhile, window installation is progressing to level 3 and plumbing and electrical services rough in to levels 2 and 3. Wall and ceiling framing is also underway to level 2 and sheeting to level 1.

Shotcreting will likewise get underway for the basement walls in June.

The team is also targeting to install Florence’s pool shell this month. Given they are adjoining sites, Florence by Mosaic and Augusta by Mosaic are being built at the same time. As per above, below ground, shotcreteing to the basement walls is scheduled to be finalised in June, while electrical and hydraulic services fittings will keep advancing.

It’s a hive of activity on site at Bianca, with Mosaic Construction continuing to progress each residential level, having completed the levels 2 and 3 slab pours last month. Meanwhile, shotcreting is finalised to the basement walls, while services installation to this space is ongoing (i.e. water, electricity, plumbing). The June plan is to complete the levels 4 and 5 slab pours, weather permitting, and basement services installation.

Mosaic Construction continues making excellent progress, with bulk excavation continuing unimpeded, as seen in the images below. For added context, there are currently five excavators on site, with over 80 truckloads of dirt removed from the site daily. Excavation will continue through June, as will progressive shotcreting to the basement perimeter walls.

Marella by Mosaic | Broadbeach

May was a monumental month on-site for Mosaic Construction, as they completed Marella’s first major concrete pour for the level 3 basement slab. For context, just over 1,850m3 of concrete was poured and pumped at approximately 240m3 an hour. The team ran 48 concrete agitators on turnaround and had three concrete plants exclusively servicing this task on the day. May also saw the building’s lift and core formwork and reinforcement works get underway, as well as basement 3 waterproofing and shotcreteing to the perimeter walls.  Precast elements from basement 3 to basement 2 are advancing, following which the team is targeting to pour the basement 2 slab this month, weather pending.
