The team successfully installed Cotton Tree’s tower crane last month, another major achievement for Mosaic Construction.

Adding to the team’s November milestones was the pouring of Building One’s (The Esplanade) lift pit and ground-level concrete slab.

Looking to the month ahead, should all go according to plan and weather permitting, the team will aim to commence work on Cotton Tree’s water and sewer connections and pour the Level 2 concrete slab for Building One.

Mosaic Construction will also kick off basement excavation for Building 2 (Memorial Avenue).

Having achieved the significant milestone of completing the ground floor concrete slab pour in October, Mosaic Construction moved on to forming The Manning’s lift and stair core.

In addition to this was the installation of the Energex pad mount transformer, the eventual central power source for the building, and the stormwater tank, which will capture and manage rainwater runoff from the building and its surroundings to help prevent flooding, erosion, and water pollution by controlling the flow of rainwater.

Should all go to plan and weather permitting, December will see Mosaic Construction target the Level 2 concrete slab pour and advance vertical elements to Level 3 ahead of the building’s ascension in 2024.

The team is inching closer to achieving structural top-out following the pouring of Witton One’s Level 12 and 13 concrete slabs in November.

Witton Two is also officially ascending, following last month’s Level 1 concrete slab pour, and Witton ONe’s wall sheeting and glazing is making solid progress.

November also saw Mosaic Construction reach a notable milestone as they began the intricate and exciting installation of Witton One’s vertical bifurcation columns, each weighing 1.6 tonnes and individually craned onto the site.

Looking ahead, if all goes according to plan and the weather permits, this month Mosaic Construction will complete Witton One’s Level 14 concrete slab pour and Witton Two’s Level 2 concrete slab pour while advancing internal works in Witton One.
