We’re bringing 2025 to a strong close. Our sixth and final completion for the year, Lily by Mosaic in Broadbeach, is just weeks away from welcoming residents home. Before Mosaic Construction takes a well-earned break, the team is running hard to the finish line on five additional sites, setting themselves up for a strong start to 2026.

November marked the successful completion of essential service works, bulk excavation and shotcreting—key milestones that will set the stage for accelerated progress in 2026. With bulk excavation complete, the team has moved into detailed excavation, a process that focuses on precision to carefully shape the exact spaces The Bedford’s foundations will sit. During December, Mosaic Construction will begin preparations for the first concrete slab pour, a pivotal moment for the project. By the end of December, the team will aim to have two of the four basement-level slabs in place, weather permitting.

The Carter has successfully completed both of the Level 4 and Level 5 concrete slab pours with precast panels now installed up to Level 6. The building core has climbed to Level 9 and momentum remains strong throughout December. Weather permitting, Mosaic Construction will begin work on the Level 6 transfer slab, with the first two of five pours scheduled for this month. We look forward to seeing the building core extend to Level 10, while services, including car park lighting, stacks, and high-level plumbing will reach Level 4.

Weather permitting, December will see Mosaic Construction maintain strong momentum with roof formwork commencing, marking the final stages of the tower’s structural works.

During November, Mosaic Construction completed important groundwork in preparation for the next stage of the building program. This included installing groundwater management systems, completing all underground plumbing, and connecting the site’s permanent water supply. The site has been filled and levelled, and work has now started on the foundation, with the first concrete sections being poured for the basement structure. Weather permitting, in December, the team will continue to shape Sophia’s foundations and pour more concrete slabs to form the building’s base.
