Kim Brand – Sunshine Coast Office Manager

Kim Brand is the newest recruit to Mosaic Property Group, joining the Sunshine Coast team led by experienced sales manager Marcus Muir, as their Sunshine Coast Executive Assistant & Office Manager.

It’s an extremely exciting time for Kim to join the Mosaic team, with the opening of the Sunshine Coast office and the $175 million pipeline Mosaic Property Group is committing to the coast.

Kim is a perfect example of someone making a sea change to take advantage of the ever-growing opportunities presenting on the Sunshine Coast.

Originally hailing from Sydney, Kim’s dad made the first step, moving to Moolooaba 30 years ago with Kim’s step mum and two younger brothers and beginning a tradition of annual holidays on the Sunshine Coast.

“Firstly as a kid with my older brother then later with my partner and our kids, so I have a strong connection to the beautiful Sunny Coast.”

So strong is Kim’s connection to the Sunshine Coast that she still remembers her first plane ride to Maroochydore as a kid.

“It was so exciting. It felt like a bit of a ghost town back then. Boy, have things changed.”

The decision to move to Peregian Springs earlier this year came about for a few reasons.

“Housing affordability, having an elderly mum with health issues living on the coast, being closer to family, and for the lifestyle.”

Kim and her family made the decision to move six months after her eldest brother and his family also moved to Peregian.

In Sydney, Kim and her family lived in a very small modest house, however since moving to the Sunshine Coast they now have a huge beautiful family home with a west wing (granny flat) for her mum.

“It’s close to all our family and we’re building a pool in time for summer. We have two boys aged 13 and 11 who have settled in really well in their new schools and sports teams as well having their cousins around the corner, which is so nice for them.”

Kim’s favourite places to explore on the Sunny Coast are Noosa Beach and the coastal walks, Peregian Beach and Coolum!

“We’re planning to climb Mount Coolum soon, but I’ll get back to you on that one!”

“I feel very fortunate to have gained an awesome job opportunity with Mosaic and I’m really excited about the opening of the new Sunshine Coast office.”
