The latest proposal is an Impact Assessable Development Application, seeking approval for a modest increase in height to the previously approved scheme.

Architecture is sensitive and respectful to the local context. The building height and form ensures a scale consistent with the surrounding area.
Generous ground plane and podium level landscaping will enhance the existing streetscape. In time, native planting it will drape and soften the building's form, enhancing visual appeal while supporting micro-climatic cooling.

An impact assessable development in the City of Gold Coast is a project that requires public input because it may affect the surrounding area. The Council evaluates these projects against its City Plan, considering not only planning guidelines but also community input to ensure any potential impacts are managed appropriately.
For this type of development, the applicant must notify the public through signs, advertisements, and letters to nearby property owners. This allows residents to submit feedback, share support, or raise concerns.
After considering these submissions, the Council makes a decision.
