What is an Emergency?
Emergency maintenance refers to urgent issues that must be addressed immediately to prevent injury, significant damage, or risk to health and safety.
Examples include:
- Breakdown of an essential service provided by the landlord or agent (e.g., water, electricity)
- Dangerous electrical fault
- Burst water service
- Serious roof leak
- Gas leak
- Flooding or severe flood damage
- Fire or severe storm-related damage
- Blocked or broken toilet system (only toilet in the apartment)
- Damage that results in the property being unsecured or hazardous
- A serious lift or staircase fault
- Locked out of the property or unable to access it due to lost keys
For any emergency maintenance issue, please contact the appropriate trades or service providers listed on this page. In most cases, the emergency call-out and repair cost will be borne by the property owner.
