The positive charge into the second half of 2024 continues, with notable advancements across our various South East Queensland construction sites. We were on the cusp of several significant milestones, including commencing scaffold removal, achieving structural top-out, and preparing for another Mosaic crane to grace the Gold Coast skyline.
Sunshine Coast
Cotton Tree by Mosaic | Cotton Tree
Address: 17 The Esplanade, Cotton Tree
Apartments: Two boutique buildings featuring 8 full-floor, ultra-luxurious 3-bedroom residences and 33 spacious 2- and 3-bedroom residences.

July saw Mosaic Construction achieve the Level 6 concrete slab pour for Building 1 (The Esplanade) and the Level 2 pour for Building 2 (Memorial Avenue).
Additionally, in Building 1 (The Esplanade), windows were installed up to Level 4, and walls and ceilings were sheeted to Levels 1 and 2. The team targets the Level 7 concrete slab pour for Building 1, putting Cotton Tree on the home stretch to structural top-out.

Mosaic Construction achieved four major concrete pours in July, with the latest being the second of two for Level 9. This milestone puts The Manning on the exciting home stretch toward the structural halfway point.
Detailed interior work will commence once The Manning reaches the designated height. For now, the priority continues to be advancing the tower’s construction which is tracking to schedule.

Meanwhile, wall and ceiling framing has reached Level 4, with wall sheeting following right behind at Level 3, and high-level services are closed out to Level 6.

Mosaic Construction is advancing wall sheeting, setting, and sanding to Level 8, with all other levels closed out.
The first interior paint application remains on schedule, and tiling is progressing through Levels 5 to 7. Externally, render works are at the upper levels, and the rooftop pool shell has been poured.
August marks a massively exciting milestone as, weather permitting, we begin the highly anticipated task of progressively removing the scaffold from The Mowbray’s top levels down. This significant step not only reveals the building’s final beauty but also signifies that we are entering the final phases of construction.

Mosaic Construction is poised to achieve a significant milestone with the imminent completion of Isabel’s basement excavation.
Shotcreting, which involves spraying concrete onto surfaces at high velocity, is progressing on the basement walls. Meanwhile, the team is trimming the piles initially driven into the ground around the site’s perimeter for essential structural support to prepare for the next construction phase.

Most excitingly, internal works will commence this month as Mosaic Construction begins forming Lily’s Residences. This will kick off with wall and ceiling framing.
