Welcome back to another installment from our ‘Baking Queen of Mosaic’, Belinda.
With the Anzac Day fast approaching, we’ve found you the perfect Anzac biscuit recipe that has been gracing our office kitchens for quite some time now.
Once you try this recipe you won’t just be waiting for the 25th of April to get cooking!
1 cup Plain Flour
1 cup Rolled Oats
1 cup Dessicated Coconut
3/4 cup Brown Sugar
2 tablespoons Golden Syrup
1 teaspoon Bicarbonate of Soda
2 tablespoons Water
What to do
Preheat oven to 180-degrees.
Place flour, oats, coconut and sugar in a bowl.
In a small saucepan place the golden syrup and butter and stir over a low heat until butter is melted.
Mix bicarbonate of soda with 2 tablespoons water and add to the golden syrup mixture.
Pour into dry ingredients and mix together.
Roll a heaped teaspoon of mixture into balls on to a baking tray and press down with a fork.
Bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
